Haley grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Brock University. Her studies included a year at the University of British Columbia, where she competed on the varsity cross-country team, and a semester abroad in Leeds, England. She later moved to Portland, Oregon, to pursue a second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and is on track to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December 2024.
Haley was introduced to chiropractic care early in life after experiencing multiple injuries while competing in track and field. Her athletic career included several appearances at youth Canadian nationals, where chiropractic treatments played a key role in her recovery and performance. During these times, she discovered that chiropractic care extends far beyond just "cracking backs." Her experience with recovery highlighted the role chiropractic plays in improving function and enhancing athletic performance.
Haley has been treating clients as a chiropractic resident in Portland for the past year, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions. Currently, she is completing her final internship at Therapy X under Dr. Jane Peterson's supervision. Haley’s approach emphasizes individualized care, combining chiropractic techniques with evidence-based practices to help clients achieve optimal health. She is committed to ongoing learning through seminars. In addition to chiropractic, Haley is a certified track and field coach with years of experience training athletes and teaching swimming lessons to people of all ages, from infants to seniors. This coaching experience has enhanced her communication skills and deepened her ability to connect with clients, fostering trust and understanding in her care.
Outside the clinic, Haley enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and trying new restaurants.
